Statistics show that tax payers from the private sector economy have been the main beneficiaries of the tax reduction measures, with the manufacturing industry receiving a major boon from the practice. The tax reduction policies have also stimulated the development projects of small and micro enterprises (SMEs) , with a year-on-year growth of 135.29 percent.
A leading group specializing in reduction inspections was established to carry out self-examination of the tax reduction policies. Wudang also helped residents learn about relevant policies through a number of means, including WeChat, SMS, LED displays, and training sessions.
Wudang has consistently made tax reduction a top working priority. In 2018, the district cancelled 41 administrative and institutional charging items, creating tax savings worth a total of 10.95 million yuan. This year, it reduced the charges for each high school student taking the academic level examinations from 13 yuan to 10 yuan.
