Two new pocket parks, Zhengsheng Pocket Park and Tianpu Pocket Park, have been added to the Jianlongdong Road living circle in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone.

So far, a total of three pocket parks have opened in Shuanglong, with a cumulative newly added green space area of nearly 34,400 square meters.

Pocket parks are also known as mini parks. By making green space available wherever possible, they increase the urban greening rate, improve the environment, and provide residents with venues for daily activities such as rest, fitness, and social interaction.

The Jianlongdong Road living circle is located in the core residential and industrial intersection area in the northwest of Shuanglong. As one of Shuanglong's key "15-minute living circles", it is home to a number of dense residential communities, supported by complete public facilities such as the First People's Hospital of Guiyang, SASSEUR (Guiyang) Outlets, and Easy Home.

The parks are designed to meet the needs of all age groups, creating vibrant community spaces that combine leisure, sports, and family activities. They are equipped with circular walking paths, recreational areas and shaded corridor bridges, effectively addressing the lack of centralized public activity spaces in the area.

The construction of the two parks has revitalized idle urban spaces and intensified the use of land, alleviating the shortage of small green areas and activity spaces in the living circle.
