The first rainbow run event for International Women's Day was held in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone on March 7. Nearly 100 women from all walks of life celebrated the occasion with a 5-kilometer run.

"I had such a great time running today, and I hope everyone can shine with vitality," said the third-prize winner, a police officer. She added that she usually works on security for the Guiyang Marathon and has organized a police escort team, and that participating as a runner makes her feel energized.
"The atmosphere at today's event was even more enthusiastic than we expected," said Li Jun, deputy director of the zone's commerce bureau. She added that this event integrates healthy living with diverse consumption scenarios. It is not only a practice of national fitness but also a proactive measure to invigorate commercial districts and upgrade consumption, creating a platform for women across the zone to communicate, interact, and showcase their positive spirit.
