Since the signing of a strategic cooperation and talent introduction exchange and training agreement in Sept 2020, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone and Guiyang University have been strengthening their partnership, achieving fruitful results in promoting employment and entrepreneurship, talent sharing, and building innovation platforms.
The two sides have carried out 15 activities such as talent introduction and enterprises visits to expand employment, and introduced 745 graduates from Guiyang University. To date, the entrepreneurial teams cultivated have won 21 national level awards and 118 provincial level awards, all of which have been registered and implemented in the economic zone, achieving achievement transformation.
A total of 36 technology envoys paid detailed visits to enterprises, providing technical guidance and joint research on key issues such as production and operation, cost reduction and efficiency improvement. They served more than 200 enterprises and conducted technical training for over 1,000 people.
In platform construction, 49 incubation enterprises have been introduced, eight high-tech enterprises have been cultivated, and multiple provincial-level innovative small and medium-sized enterprises have been established.
In addition, the "Guiyang University-Shuanglong Collaborative Entrepreneurship and Innovation Base" has been approved as a provincial-level and national level small and micro enterprise entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration base, serving more than 270 small and micro enterprises, leading to the creation of more than 2,500 jobs, and effectively promoting the transformation, upgrading, and innovative development of regional small and medium-sized enterprises.
Both sides will further deepen the government-school-enterprise collaboration mechanism, promote resource and achievement sharing, and work together to enhance the vitality, charm, and strength of the regional economy through high-quality development of universities.
