Guizhou Shuanglong Bonded Logistics Center (Type B) passed the acceptance inspection on Sept 23, marking a crucial step toward the project's operation.
The center is located on the southeast side of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. Since its approval, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone has made every effort to promote the development of fencing, customs office buildings, and inspection platforms, ensuring that the project is completed on schedule and meets acceptance requirements.
During the acceptance, the inspection team conducted detailed verification of facilities such as checkpoints, isolation fences, and supervision warehouses. The team also tested the intelligent checkpoint release system, vehicle recognition, weighing scales and other equipment at the checkpoint, and the technical team demonstrated the full process operation of the customs information management system on site.
The center is meant to improve the functioning of the airport, integrate into the Belt and Road Initiative, and serve as a new center for the inland open economy. Enterprises can rely on the center and the airport's convenient location to carry out goods distribution, transshipment, bonded warehousing and other business nearby, significantly reducing logistics costs and capital occupation and further enhancing the efficiency of "Guizhou goods going abroad".
