The 2025 Sanya-Guiyang twin-city tourism promotion event was held on July 28 in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Co-hosted by Sanya municipal bureau of tourism, culture, radio, television, and sports and Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism, the event brought together officials, industry associations, and business representatives to explore cooperation under the themes of tourist exchange, joint route development, and brand promotion.

The two bureaus signed the Sanya-Guiyang culture and tourism cooperation agreement, outlining plans to establish a long-term communication mechanism and open interregional tourism channels. Together, they will develop joint travel packages that combine Sanya's tropical beaches, ocean waves, and duty-free shopping with Guiyang's karst landscapes and cool mountain climate, creating a "winter in Sanya, summer in Guiyang" travel model.
To mark the occasion, Sanya tourism companies offered exclusive deals to Guiyang residents, with over 100 discounted products from scenic spots, hotels, and travel agencies.
