Guizhou Shuanglong International Trade and Investment Co, based in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, has established a flagship store on Shopee, one of Southeast Asia's leading e-commerce platforms.

The company plans to commence cross-border exports by the end of June, marking its strategic entry into the rapidly growing digital trade landscape.

After nearly six months of preparation, the company has systematically addressed key operational challenges, including product selection, inventory management, payment settlement, and risk control.

As part of this expansion, the company has secured partnerships with 11 high-quality domestic suppliers across various industries, diversifying its product offerings and strengthening its supply chain readiness.

These products will be primarily exported to the Thai market via Shopee, positioning the company to tap into Southeast Asia's dynamic consumer base and expanding digital economy. According to the company's leadership, this move aligns with China's Belt and Road Initiative and reflects a proactive approach to foreign trade transformation aimed at enhancing global competitiveness and supporting regional economic growth.

"Entering the Shopee platform not only represents a new business channel but also a strategic step toward integrating domestic production with international demand," stated a company representative.

The initiative is expected to foster industrial collaboration, create local employment, and contribute to the sustainable development of Guizhou's export-oriented economy. This effort further underscores Guiyang's growing role in China's cross-border e-commerce ecosystem and its commitment to utilizing digital platforms to drive global trade.
