Phase I of the AVIC Heavy Machinery Co's Guiyang Aviation Industrial Park is expected to begin operations in June 2025.
The industrial park broke ground in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone at the end of 2022. It is the first major advanced equipment manufacturing project launched since the company's headquarters was registered in the zone.
Phase I includes a technology research institute and the capacity expansion project of Anda Aerospace. The area covers about 230 mu (15.33 hectares) of land, with a total investment of approximately 930 million yuan ($132.86 million).

Current work involves interior and exterior decoration, fire safety inspections, equipment installation and commissioning, as well as road and landscaping construction within the park.
Once completed, the park is expected to strengthen AVIC Heavy Machinery Co's aviation equipment manufacturing presence in Guizhou, enhance the competitiveness of the industrial chain, and drive growth in related sectors such as logistics, raw materials, and component manufacturing.
