Starting on Nov 29, Tianjin Airlines plans to launch direct flights between Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, and Osaka in Japan, with three round-trip flights per week. Tickets are now on sale.
It is currently the only direct flight route from Guiyang to Osaka in Guizhou and the second direct international route opened by Tianjin Airlines in the province, following the opening of the Guiyang-Singapore route on Nov 15.
The opening of this new route is expected to further enhance tourism and business exchanges between China and Japan, providing passengers with more convenient travel options.
The Guiyang-Osaka route is scheduled to operate on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The outbound flight, GS7983, departs from Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 11:15 am and arrives at Kansai International Airport in Osaka at 4:00 pm.
The return flight, GS7984, departs from Kansai International Airport at 5:15 pm and arrives at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport at 9:20 pm. The one-way flight time is approximately five hours.
The Guiyang-Osaka route will use an Airbus A320 aircraft, with 18 premium economy seats and 152 economy seats. Each passenger is allowed to carry one 7-kilogram piece of carry-on luggage and one 23-kg piece of free checked baggage.
During the initial period of operation, one-way ticket from Guiyang to Osaka starts at 380 yuan excluding taxes, and one-way ticket from Osaka to Guiyang starts at 100 yuan excluding taxes. Passengers can purchase tickets on the official platforms of Tianjin Airlines.
Additionally, from Nov 29 to Dec 28, Tianjin Airlines will offer a free airport pickup service for passengers traveling from Guiyang to Osaka, covering transportation from Kansai International Airport to the 24 wards of Osaka, further enhancing travel convenience for passengers.
