Since the approval of the cross-border e-commerce comprehensive pilot zone in 2018, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has made significant strides in facilitating the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce.
By introducing cross-border trade enterprises, professional talent, and operational channels, Guiyang has assisted local businesses in accessing international markets, securing more orders, and boosting cross-border e-commerce growth.

In 2022, the China (Guiyang) Cross-Border E-commerce Public Service Center in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone was completed, and in 2023, the platform established cross-border e-commerce service points in industrial parks across Guiyang's districts and counties. A total of 123 enterprises are currently registered on the public service platform.
He Xicheng, head of the China (Guiyang) Cross-Border E-commerce Public Service Center and president of the Guiyang Cross-Border E-commerce Branch, said that the biggest challenge in cross-border e-commerce is information asymmetry. The public service center bridges this gap by integrating over 60 service modules, including customs clearance, international logistics, finance, and intellectual property rights, simplifying operations for businesses.
Guiyang currently operates and leases 36 overseas warehouses covering regions like Southeast Asia, Africa, the United States, and Australia, totaling 380,000 square meters in area.
