During the National Day holiday from Oct 1 to 7, scenic spots in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone launched various cultural and tourism activities, attracting a staggering number of visitors. Over 400,000 arrivals marked a 200 percent increase compared to last year.
Colorful Guizhou City, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, showcased a plethora of traditional delicacies from renowned local brands like Laoganma and Shanhua Milk. At the Polar Ocean World in Colorful Guizhou City, tens of thousands of marine creatures from over 300 species captivated visitors with dazzling displays. Enchanting performances by mermaids and dolphins left visitors spellbound, creating unforgettable memories.
Guizhou's largest interactive amusement park, Colorful Happy Valley, was adorned with over 20,000 pots of seasonal chrysanthemums in full bloom. With many entertainment options and diverse cuisines, it drew crowds of visitors seeking fun-filled experiences.
The largest red tourism site in the Shuanglong zone, the Long March Digital Technology Art Museum (Hongpiaodai), employed innovative technologies and multimedia to vividly recreate the history of the Long March.
Beyond the scenic spots, the multifaceted Sasseur Outlets emerged as a popular shopping and leisure destination for numerous locals and tourists during the holiday. As the largest shopping complex in the Shuanglong zone, it welcomed a total of 449,700 visits over the holiday, with a total revenue of 78.28 million yuan ($11.08 million).
