In the midst of the scorching summer, as popular attractions in Guiyang are once again filled with crowds of tourists, a once niche leisure activity – outdoor camping, has gained popularity in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone.
The China Railway International Ecological City in the Shuanglong zone shines like a green pearl, exuding a charming allure and becoming a dream destination for camping enthusiasts this summer.
Visitors cannot only enjoy the blue sky as their canopy, the green grass as their carpet, and the park as their bed, but can also nearly 20 recreational activities such as paragliding, kayaking, paddleboarding, off-road vehicles, and more.

"So far this year, Woshan Leying International Campsite has welcomed a total of 120,000 visitors," said the person in charge of the campsite, noting that most visitors are from Guiyang, with a small portion hailing from Zhejiang, Shanghai, and other places, accounting for around 20 percent of the total.
In the Shuanglong zone, there are several camping bases like this one.
On holidays and weekends, the Songjiayuan Ecological Leisure Camping Base is equally bustling.

The base has cultivated around 3 mu (0.2 hectare) of rice fields, allowing visitors to fish outdoors.
In recent years, the Shuanglong zone has formed a healthy ecosystem with forests, green spaces, rivers, and reservoirs, providing strong environmental support for the increasing number of camping bases in the area.
