A summer service event featuring the Village Super League, dubbed cunchao, was launched at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport on July 19 and will last until Aug 31.
The event showcases the rich and diverse ethnic cultures of Southwest China's Guizhou province, creating a strong cultural atmosphere unique to the region.

Featuring a variety of floral market stalls, youthful singing, and ethnically distinctive dance performances, the visual feast is captivating travelers, many of whom stop to admire the spectacle.
The long-table banquet filled with Guizhou's specialty snacks showcases the unique ethnic customs, traditional culture, and local delicacies of Guizhou. Engaging activities like stamp collecting, creative mascot drawing, and a range of cunchao souvenirs enhance the experience for travelers, providing a refreshing and comfortable journey amid the summer heat.

The airport expects to handle 4.34 million passengers during the 2024 summer season, with an average of 70,000 passengers per day, a 7-percent increase from 2023 and a 5-percent increase from 2019.
