Established in 2006 in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guizhou Weite Food Co is an agricultural processing enterprise dedicated to the production and sale of healthy "vegetable chain" products, boasting 17 years of experience in supplying inflight catering ingredients.

As a company that primarily deals with fresh products, the core business of Weite Food lies in its fresh-cut vegetable series. The biggest challenge in its transformation was the lack of preservation technology, leading to a short shelf life for its fresh-cut vegetable products.
But technological needs of Weite Food were swiftly met. Thanks to the integration model between Guiyang University and the Shuanglong zone, Wang Rui, as a technology envoy, led a team to collaborate with Weite Food on the development of preservation technology for fresh-cut vegetables, quickly discovering a solution.
Following the application of the new technology, Weite Food saw a 30-percent increase in sales revenue in 2023 compared to 2021, reaching around 15 million yuan ($2.07 million).
In recent years, Weite Food has learned that to maintain a steady and healthy development trajectory, it must rely on continuous transformation and technological innovation.
To this end, Weite Food has engaged in deep cooperation with universities and research institutions, establishing talent workstations to provide technical support for product development.
In addition to catering to large clients such as group companies and institutional cafeterias, Weite Food's products have also made their way into large domestic supermarkets and chain convenience stores like Freshippo, Walmart, and Carrefour.
