During the just-concluded May Day holiday on May 1-5, Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport handled a total of 322,100 passengers, with an average of 64,400 passengers per day. The airport also managed 2,264 takeoffs and landings, averaging 453 flights per day.
Comparing the data with the May Day holiday in 2023, from April 29 to May 3, the airport this year saw an increase of 10.34 percent in passenger throughput and an 8.17-percent increase in aircraft movements.
According to the airport authorities, Guiyang's top 10 destination airports during this year's May Day holiday were: Hangzhou, Beijing Daxing, Beijing Capital, Zhengzhou, Shanghai Pudong, Shanghai Hongqiao, Quanzhou Jinjiang, Xiamen, Haikou, and Nanjing.
