Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport accumulated a total cargo and mail throughput of 24,452.8 metric tons in the first quarter of this year, marking a 29.95-percent year-on-year increase, according to Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Co.
Notably, its international cargo and mail throughput reached 600.91 tons, representing a remarkable 569.31-percent year-on-year surge and indicating a robust momentum in the international air cargo market.

This remarkable growth trend is attributed to the diversified strategies of Guizhou Civil Aviation Industry Group Co as well as its close collaboration with multiple transportation enterprises.
While ensuring smooth cargo transportation, the company has actively expanded its market reach, collaborated with transportation enterprises to explore new market demands, developed innovative marketing strategies, and enhanced its service provisions. Since the beginning of the year, there has been a particularly noticeable increase in the transportation of seafood, alcoholic beverages, fresh flowers, fruits, and vegetables compared to previous years.
