During the Spring Festival holiday, eight scenic spots in the Guizhou Shuanglong Economic Zone, located in Guizhou province, welcomed over 300,000 visitors and generated a total tourism revenue of over 10 million yuan ($1.39 million).

Colorful Guizhou City organized a series of popular entertainment projects, such as a lantern corridor, Tang Dynasty-themed banquet dances, iron flower shows, lion dance performances, and colorful circus performances, attracting over 10,000 visits per day over the holiday.

The accommodation sector in the zone also saw a significant rebound compared to last year, with a total turnover of about 20 million yuan. This represents a growth of over 90 percent.
The largest supermarket in the zone, Sasseur (Guiyang) Outlet, received 250,000 visits over the eight-day holiday. It achieved a sales volume of more than 42 million yuan, a 12-percent increase compared to the previous year.
