The event attracted representatives from cross-border e-commerce enterprises, foreign trade companies, financial institutions, universities, overseas brands, and investment incubators, totaling more than 130 participants.
It aimed to provide a platform for international communication for Guizhou enterprises, empower the rapid and sustainable development of cross-border e-commerce companies, and promote the steady and far-reaching growth of Guizhou's exports.
At the meeting, three guests shared their experiences in cross-border e-commerce expansion and insights on cross-border markets. The guests were from PCOnline, the No 1 seller of electronic products on Amazon in the United States, Roselake Ventures, an African venture capital fund, and Hangzhou Meihuan Technology Culture. The discussions were focused on investment environments, export opportunities, and policy directions for cross-border markets such as North America, Africa, and the Middle East.
Zhao Fukang, a second-level investigator from the Shuanglong zone, introduced the advantages of the zone in terms of location, transportation, logistics, and open platforms, as well as its current development in the cross-border e-commerce industry.
Tang Rong, deputy director of the Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce, introduced the development process of cross-border e-commerce in Guiyang and provided insights on prospects for the city.
Furthermore, Guizhou Meijia Trading, a local cross-border trade service provider, signed strategic cooperation agreements with overseas partners during the event.
