This year, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone has been focusing on the development of industries such as logistics and software services, stimulating the vitality of business entities.
So far this year, the Shuanglong zone has added nine new service industry enterprises above a designated size – those with annual output value of 20 million yuan ($2.74 million) or more, and another eight enterprises are currently applying to be included in the list of enterprises above a designated size.
If these applications are successful, the Shuanglong zone is expected to add 17 service industry enterprises above a designated size this year.
These 17 service industry enterprises cover transportation, warehousing and postal services, software and information technology services, leasing and business services, and more.
The increasing number of service industry enterprises above a designated size signifies the thriving development of the tertiary sector in the Shuanglong zone and the continuous expansion of the service industry.
As of October, the 56 service industry enterprises above a designated size in the Shuanglong zone had already achieved a total revenue of 10.9 billion yuan this year, a year-on-year growth of 63.08 percent.
