A delegation from the Global Aerospace Cluster Partnership (GACP), a global network jointly established by major aviation clusters in Europe, America, and Asia, recently visited the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone for investigation and discussion. The delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges on potential collaborative projects.
Li Wei, deputy secretary of the Party working committee and director of the administrative committee of the Shuanglong zone, warmly welcomed the delegation.
He highlighted that Shuanglong is currently focused on attracting investment in the high-end equipment manufacturing industry and aviation-related production and manufacturing sectors, with the goal of gradually building an aerospace industrial park.
Li Wei expressed the hope that both sides could collaborate on the development of aviation-related industries, including aerospace component manufacturing, air cargo transportation, aviation logistics, and maintenance and dismantling. This collaboration is expected to drive regional economic development.
The Shuanglong zone is committed to strengthening communication between the two sides, providing effective services and guarantees, and actively promoting the implementation of projects.
The GACP delegation acknowledged that the Shuanglong zone possesses significant geographical advantages, policy support, and excellent transportation infrastructure. They expressed that the establishment of the Southwest branch of the GACA China Center in the Economic Zone is an excellent choice.
