The Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, celebrated the ninth anniversary of its establishment on Oct 17.
Over the past nine years, the zone has gradually realized its development blueprint relying on its status as a national demonstration zone for airport economic zones and an open gateway and development platform for the opening up of Guiyang City and Guian New Area.

The zone has completed the relocation of 15 administrative villages, built 1.2 million square meters of resettlement sites, and acquired and reserved more than 16,000 mu (1,066.67 hectares) of land.
Taking advantage of the Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, the zone has promoted the construction of transportation infrastructure, forming a multi-modal transport network featuring aviation, high-speed rail, expressways, urban highways, and main roads.
To further open up, projects related to the airport have been accelerated, and the airport has launched 225 domestic and international routes.

Some aviation headquarters enterprises, intelligent logistics enterprises, comprehensive services enterprises, and food enterprises have gathered in the zone, injecting new impetus into its high-quality development.
In addition, measures related to mountain governance have been implemented, resulting in the treatment of over 800 mu of land and the afforestation of over 14,000 mu over the nine-year period.
Furthermore, enterprises in the zone have been provided with well-rounded services, helping major industrial projects achieve higher quality and efficiency.
Moving forward, the zone will forge ahead with its long-term vision to promote high-quality development.
