The advantageous location of the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone has provided unique conditions for the development of the logistics industry.
Since the first logistics company set up operations in the zone in 2016, the zone has gathered 14 well-known logistics companies, forming an air logistics park covering an area of over 6,000 mu (400 hectares).

Nowadays, the zone is not only home to the province's only national 4E-level airport, but has also formed a multi-modal transportation network including high-speed rail, rail transit, express rail, and expressways, with the Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport as the core.
In addition, the zone has accelerated the construction of infrastructure in its air logistics park and made every effort to promote the transformation of location advantages into industrial advantages.
It has successively introduced 10 measures to attract investment, 10 policies to promote industrial growth, and 10 measures to optimize and improve the business environment, providing strong support for the development of its logistics industry in terms of procedures, taxation, talent, and more.
There are currently six logistics projects under construction in its air logistics park, with a total investment of 2.45 billion yuan ($335.14 million).
From January to August this year, the 10 logistics companies above a designated size in the zone achieved a total revenue of 425 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 43 percent.
The zone is currently speeding up the declaration of a national logistics hub with an airport model. If successful, its logistics infrastructure, hub capacity, comprehensive logistics service capabilities of enterprises, and core competitiveness will be further improved.
