The largest commercial complex in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone – Sasseur (Guiyang) Outlets, is welcoming its annual peak sales season, with its 2023 autumn shopping festival and 6th anniversary celebration scheduled from Sept 16 to Oct 6.

In the first eight months of the year, the complex had been visited 6 million times, a year-on-year increase of 25 percent, with sales exceeding 800 million yuan ($110.18 million), a year-on-year increase of 20 percent.
From Sept 16 to Oct 6, in addition to ultra-low brand discounts and exclusive products, many merchants will launch special activities and dishes for the anniversary celebration.
Also, an event themed on ethnic culture and fashion trends will he held. During the event, visitors can experience intangible cultural heritage embroidery, handmade silver jewelry, folk song duets, wax dyeing, and a bonfire party.
During the eight-day Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday from Sept 29 to Oct 6, the complex will hold its first fashion week.
For tourists from other provinces and cities, the complex will also launch an activity to reimburse people for their high-speed train tickets to further stimulate urban cultural tourism.
