A groundbreaking ceremony for the Guizhou headquarters project of Amer International Group was held at the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 31.
This is the first regional headquarters of a Fortune Global 500 company that has settled in the zone.
Once completed, it will help plug the gaps in the zone's development of a headquarters economy and the construction of star-rated hotels, while also promoting the gathering of more high-level talents and high-quality projects.
The project will cover 158 mu (10.53 hectares), with a total investment of 3 billion yuan ($412.98 million).
It will include a settlement center, a financial center, a training base, supporting international brand hotels, and apartments for Amer's talented staff in Guizhou.
It will also involve investment, construction, operation, and management services for projects in Guizhou, as well as equity investment, corporate mergers and acquisitions, and other businesses.
Currently, the zone is fully committed to providing full lifecycle services for the project to ensure fast construction and secure development.
