Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone and Guiyang University in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, jointly held the 2023 Science and Technology Week from May 6 to June 4.
A series of science lectures, innovation and entrepreneurship salons, and innovation and entrepreneurship competitions brought a feast of science and technology to enterprises, institutions, and students.
The Guiyang University-Shuanglong Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition attracted 33 projects from Guizhou University, Guizhou University of Finance and Economics, and Guiyang University to participate.
After some fierce competition, 10 high-quality projects entered the finals. Guizhou University won the championship and received a 10,000 yuan ($1,400.48) start-up subsidy from the Shuanglong zone.
Since 2020, the Shuanglong zone and Guiyang University have strengthened their cooperation in supporting graduates to start businesses and gain employment, building national technology business incubators, and encouraging the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements.
