Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has witnessed rapid growth in its digital economy, with 30 enterprises in the software services securing a gross revenue of 160 million yuan ($23.2 million) in the first quarter, up 25.7 percent on a year-on-year basis.
In 2022, the industrial development bureau of the economic zone, answering the nation's call for innovative development of the digital economy, implemented investment promotion with a focus on cultivating and expanding the digital economy industry and strengthening the digital economy industry chain. The digital economy industry in the economic zone has begun to take shape.

Daima Technology, an emerging online and physical digital service provider, has rapidly grown into a high-tech enterprise in just a few months with the help of the economic zone.
"In the first quarter, our company achieved a revenue of 4 million yuan. Our goal is to exceed 20 million yuan in revenue," said Wan Yuebo, a manager at Daima Technology.
Yunjing Cultural Tourism and Technology Co is a tourism-related big data company jointly funded by China Unicom and Tencent. The company's main focus in Guizhou is the "One Ma Guizhou" smart tourism platform.
Supported by a number of cutting-edge technologies such as big data, 5G live streaming, new retail and block chain, the platform has developed a host of application plug-ins, which not only help more than 700 scenic spots and tourism-related enterprises in Guizhou solve the problems related to digital transformation and distribution, but have also turned the public service platform into a useful service for tourists.
