Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has used its "data workshop" as a platform to promote the development of digital industry.
Since it was completed and put into operation in December 2016, the "Shuanglong Data Workshop" has carried out investment promotion work in accordance with the investment promotion policies of the economic zone.
With a focus on fostering software service enterprises, it has made steady progress in cloud computing, data analysis and big data services, and effectively promoted the agglomeration of the digital industry in the economic zone.
Guizhou Yuteng Coal Industry Big Data Information Center Co, a leading information-based big data enterprise in coal industry in Guizhou, has provided products and services to upstream and downstream enterprises in the industry to enable them to pursue innovative development, achieving an annual output value of 20.39 million yuan ($2.99 million).
In 2022, the 19 big data enterprises in Shuanglong Data Workshop achieved a total revenue of about 310 million yuan in software services.
Officials from the industrial development bureau of the economic zone said that in 2023, the economic zone will strengthen investment promotion for online games, software development and data application, continue to foster digital industries, and further promote the industrial agglomeration of the digital economy and high-quality economic growth in the economic zone.
