The groundbreaking ceremony for the AVIC Heavy Machinery Guiyang Aviation Industrial Park and the major projects of Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone was held on Dec 29.
The Shuanglong zone is located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The 12 major projects which started construction on the day have a total investment of 21.1 billion yuan ($3.06 billion), and focus on intelligent manufacturing, industrial support, aviation logistics, and the modern service industry, among other fields.
