This year, the municipal government of Guiyang expected to invite investors to start operation in 1 million square meters of standardized plants in the Shuanglong zone, and about 600,000 sq m has completed construction.
So far, four key investment projects have started production, occupying an area of 1.22 million sq m and exceeding the target set by the municipal government. The government's goal of constructing 600,000 sq m of new plants will be achieved by the end of this year.

In addition, more than 10 enterprises have signed agreements with the economic zone, while more than 20 companies intend to set up operations in the area.
According to the zone's planning, a total of 5 million sq m of such plants will be built in the next three to five years.
Investors are encouraged to move to the zone and will be able to benefit from preferential rent policies. Key projects and enterprises with strong competitiveness will be given tailored support and subsidies.
The economic zone will work with Guiyang's liaison offices in other cities, such as Shenzhen and Chongqing, and third-party platforms to attract investment, said Jiang Kunyu, an official with the local investment promotion bureau.
