Since the beginning of this year, Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has deepened government-school-enterprise cooperation, focused on introducing and training talent, strengthening talent service guarantees, and completing its annual targets for talent introduction.
This year, the zone signed strategic cooperation agreements with three universities, including Guizhou University, and the leaders of six universities visited more than 10 enterprises in the zone for job hunting and exchange.
A total of 645 college and university graduates in the province have moved to the zone so far this year.
The zone has organized 13 special job fairs for colleges and universities, with more than 100 employers providing 4,016 jobs, and 1.426 people signing contracts.
Subsidies worth 300,000 yuan have been provided to each of the winning entrepreneurial teams that participated in the internet+ innovation and entrepreneurship competition last year, which lead to 112 young talents starting businesses in the zone.
In addition, the zone's talent office has assisted 42 talents in obtaining the talent green card of Guiyang and seven experts in applying to become provincial management experts.
Also, 190 sets of talent security housing have completed basic installation and latent will be able to move in at the end of the year.
In 2023, the zone will continue to create a healthy atmosphere for talent.
