Shuanglong rolls out measures to support commerce and trade industry

The Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently rolled out measures to support the development of enterprises in the fields of commerce and trade.

This aims to promote the development of foreign-invested enterprises, encourage and mobilize wholesale, retail, accommodation, and catering enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households to become bigger and stronger, and optimize the export-oriented economy, as well as promote the stable and healthy development of the commercial and trade economy.

For foreign-funded enterprises that set up operations in the Shuanglong zone and carry out business normally, starting from the time of company registration, if their actual foreign investment in the first deferment year exceeds $500,000, a one-time cultivation support of 50,000 yuan ($7,381.19) will be given.

Enterprises in the wholesale, retail, accommodation and catering industries above a designated size whose annual sales increase by more than 30 percent over the same period of the previous year will be given an annual one-time award of 100,000 yuan each.

Those whose annual sales increase by 20 percent to 30 percent over the same period of the previous year will be given an annual one-time award of 50,000 yuan each.

In addition, a one-time award of 50,000 yuan per household will be given to individual industrial and commercial households and industrial activity units in the wholesale, retail, lodging, and catering industries that have been converted into limited liability companies.

Furthermore, a one-time award of 100,000 yuan per household will be given to those who have transformed from a limited liability company in the wholesale, lodging or catering industry into a joint stock limited company.
