Guizhou University visited the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 13 as part of the zone's Talent Month event.
The main leaders of several colleges at Guizhou University formed a research group and visited Guizhou Ensure Pharmaceutical Co, Guizhou Zhengye International Engineering Enterprise Management Group Co, and the Shuanglong zone's planning and exhibition center.
At the symposium between Guizhou Zhengye International Engineering Enterprise Management Group Co and Guizhou University, Shen Zhiping, president of the company, invited outstanding talent from the university to work at the company.
"Through such visits and exchanges, I felt the vitality and power of the economic zone and realized the importance of solving technical problems and making use of scientific and technological achievements for the development of enterprises," said Yu Ying, director of the admissions and employment office of Guizhou University.
In recent years, by focusing on the development needs of key industries, the Shuanglong zone has introduced professional talent, strengthened the construction of training bases, cultivated skilled talent, and hired scientific and technological commissioners to assist with enterprise development.
Moving forward, the Shuanglong Zone will also hold a series of activities at eight universities and colleges in the province, such as innovation and entrepreneurship roadshows, online talent introduction, and youth talent exchange forums, to attract more graduates to the zone for employment and entrepreneurship.
