Guizhou Kunhong Food Co – located in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone – general manager Song Hongjun said his company was extremely happy to have been relocated to much bigger office space.
"The current office space is nearly five times larger than before, providing enough space for us to recruit more people and to expand our development," Song said.
"This year, the company plans to allocate a separate area of 300-400 square meters, to build a showroom for imported products to attract more high-end customers," he added. "It is expected to complete the import and export trade of $350 million."
In March, Yang Renzhong, secretary of the Party working committee of the Shuanglong zone, visited the company and reviewed its operational difficulties, including a shortage of office space and a lack of dining facilities for its employees.
But by mid-April, the company had moved into its new office space and the problems had been resolved.
"Now, there are special people in the economic zone to liaise with," Song said. "No matter what the difficulty is, we can contact department leaders at any time to discuss solutions," he added.
The Shuanglong zone has developed a reputation for paying close attention to the development of businesses within its jurisdiction.
On March 10, the zone rolled out policies to stimulate the expansion of resident companies and boost investment – as well as optimize the business environment – in order to attract more high-quality companies to relocate there.
