The Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has rolled out a series of measures for attracting investment, promoting industrial development and optimizing and improving its business environment.
The measures to lure more investment mainly focus on aviation-preferred industries, mid-to-high-end manufacturing industries, modern service industries and other projects that are expected to have a positive effect on economic and social development.

The zone will give support to targeted industries and projects in terms of helping out with the establishment of their headquarters there, arranging office space and also assisting with their operations, sci-tech innovation and recruitment incentives.
For companies whose headquarters are located in the zone, a grant of 1.5 million yuan ($236,217) to 10 million yuan will be given; for newly established airlines headquarters, the grant can exceed 10 million yuan.
To boost its industrial development, the zone will provide support for manufacturers to settle there and help them if they want to be listed on the stock market. In particular, it will assist manufacturers above a designated size – those with annual revenue of 20 million yuan or more – as well as help out with innovation and the R&D of manufacturers and the production costs of high-growth manufacturers.
Manufacturers based in the zone that have their shares listed on the domestic main board, ChiNext, Science and Technology Innovation Board and New Third Board will be rewarded between 1.5 million yuan and 10 million yuan.
In addition, the zone's measures for improving its business environment cover the fields of government services, parks services, building permits, securing power supplies, paying taxes, financial services, the legal environment and inclusive innovation.
