Diversified Chinese investment company Prime International Group and the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – on Feb 14 signed an agreement to build an education technology, culture and tourism complex.

The signing ceremony was attended by Yang Renzhong, secretary of the zone's Party working committee; Li Wei, director of the zone's administrative committee and He Kai, president of Prime International Group, as well as other officials.
Yang urged Prime International Group to make full use of digital technology to build the complex as an efficient and dynamic carrier for the comprehensive development of education, technology and cultural tourism in the zone.
He said the group would speed up the project's investment and construction and the upgrading of outdoor facilities, to help boost the economic and social development there.
The project will be divided into three phases of construction – all of which will be upgraded and renovated based on the original East Valley of Science & Fantasy, located in the zone – and will build hotels and commercial support facilities.
Plans are for the project to highlight the theme of aerospace knowledge and digital technology, connecting all the venues, while providing the public with an immersive experience.
After ramping up to full operations, the complex's cumulative operating income in the first three years is expected to be about 2 billion yuan ($315.68 million) and the tax payments will total about 220 million yuan.
