The entry-exit travel service previously conducted by the Public Security Branch of the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – reportedly began being handled by the zone's administrative service center on Nov 8.
Now, people only need to bring a valid ID card and relevant documents to process 24 items relating to the entry and exit service, such as the issuance of passports, exit-entry permits for travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao, and Chinese mainland travel permits for Taiwan residents.

In order to further improve its efficiency, the service center's window for the entry-exit service is equipped with self-service equipment, such as a camera machine and document endorsement machines.
Zhao Zhuliang, director of the business office of the center, said the initiative was another extension of its "one-stop" service in business registrations and establishment, people's livelihood security services and investment project approvals.
"It is an important measure for the zone to promote the convenience of approval services," Zhao added.

At present, self-service terminals have been set up at the center to handle such things as traffic violations, as well as vehicle and driver's license inquiries.
Moving forwards, plans are for the administrative service center to continue to streamline its administration, delegate powers, improve regulations and upgrade services, to provide businesses and the public with more high-quality and efficient services.
