A signing ceremony for a new display and administrative center -- to be established by Guizhou tea producers and merchants in the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone -- was held on May 21 in the Nanming district of Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Twelve leading enterprises in the tea industry in Guizhou participated in the ceremony and more than 60 tea producers and merchants signed up to settle in the zone.

Covering an area of nearly 30,000 square meters, the center will have three major sections: a tea commerce product and culture exhibition, a tea life cultural tourism experience display and an administrative office and function hall.
The idea is for the facility to lift the profile of the industry, through imaginative displays, exhibitions and marketing.
The project will be implemented both on-site and online. An internet platform will combine e-commerce and product traceability, to open up a new market for the industry and upgrade tea trading, while the on-site premises will create a display window for Guizhou tea.
The completed center is expected to promote the informatization, mobilization and marketing of the Guizhou tea industry and enhance the Guizhou tea brand.
