As a national airport economic demonstration area, the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone will actively promote the development of the big data industry in 2021.

Within the year, Shuanglong will begin promoting the intelligent transformation and upgrading of traditional industries by introducing industrial internet service providers.
In accordance with relevant provincial and municipal policies on supporting big data companies, it has also formulated several policies to support the sector.
It will provide a certain degree of support for companies that have achieved annual operating income of 5 million yuan ($784,043.15), 20 million yuan, 50 million yuan, and 100 million yuan for the first time, companies that have improved their technical capabilities and obtained relevant certifications, and companies that have obtained national high-tech certifications, software product evaluations, and software enterprise evaluations.
In 2020, Shuanglong and Dark Horse (Beijing) Science and Technology Co jointly established the Guiyang unicorn acceleration base. A unicorn is a startup company that is valued at more than $1 billion within 10 years of its establishment.
The base will focus on artificial intelligence, big data, digital economy, and other related technology industries, attract and incubate a number of high-growth companies, and accelerate the cultivation of unicorn enterprises.
The base has already introduced 19 enterprises and has an occupancy rate of more than 80 percent. The enterprises are expected to achieve an output value of 200 million yuan this year and create about 2,000 jobs.
