Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, is a national-level airport demonstration zone, and Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, which located in the zone, is expected to develop into a 4F-class airport with annual throughput of more than 30 million passengers by 2030.
Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the airport has faced challenges in its development, such as sharp decline on the number of flights and passengers.
The Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone taxation bureau learned about the business difficulties of air transport companies and prioritized the handling and counseling of tax-related matters for them.
So far, the bureau has handled an extension of tax payment for an air transport company once, extending its tax payment of 390,000 yuan ($57,718.78) from February to June.
It has also suspended value added tax prepayments of a total of 3.83 million yuan for two air transport companies.
The bureau will continue to work to improve the taxation business environment and increase taxation guidance and the introduction of preferential tax policies for enterprises.
