Chang Weisong, executive deputy secretary of the Party working committee and director of the management committee of Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, had an informal discussion on Aug 6 with Fu Yingchun, executive secretary-general of secretariat of the International Mountain Tourism Alliance (IMTA).
As a non-governmental and non-profit international organization approved by the State Council, IMTA is of great significance to the protection and utilization of mountain tourism resources, the promotion of mountain economic prosperity and the sustainable development of mountain and ecological tourism.

During the discussion, Chang expressed his gratitude to the IMTA for its support of the economic zone and briefly introduced the zone's industrial development projects.
He emphasized that the establishment of the IMTA's headquarters in the economic zone is of great significance and that the zone will optimize its services to support the alliance's development and growth.
Fu said that the alliance will make full use of its headquarters and take advantage of the resources available in the economic zone to advance regional development and help Guizhou open up to the outside world.
