The completion of the runway marks the entry of Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport into the ranks of dual-runway airports.
Flight inspection is a comprehensive check of software and hardware facilities such as runways, ground navigation tools and communication equipment related to plane take-off and landing.
The newly-built east runway and T3 terminal are collectively referred to as the third-phase expansion project of Guiyang's international airport.
With a total length of 4,000 meters, the runway is designed to accommodate a target of 30 million passengers, 250,000 metric tons of cargoes and mails and 243,000 aircraft movements in 2025.
