Chang Wensong, executive deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang -- capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- led a successful investment road trip to the cities of Ningbo and Hangzhou in East China's Zhejiang province on July 8-9.
At Ningbo Yinrui Biomedical Instrument Co, Chang and his team learned more about biomedical instrument manufacturing and research and development results, local officials said.
He invited the company back to the economic zone again to conduct talks. Chang also urged the company to accelerate the implementation of its existing projects and to jointly promote the development of high-end industries in the economic zone.
Chang visited Hangzhou RUHR Technology Co, where he learned about the company's development and was briefed on some of its high-tech products.
The economic zone has the province's only 4E-level international airport -- Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. As a tourist distribution center and destination in Guizhou, it has great regional advantages and a very healthy economy, Chang said.
The senior official urged companies to choose the economic zone for investment and expansion of their operations.
