Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held various kinds of themed publicity events during the latest International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking on June 26.
Through hanging up anti-drug warning signs and publicity posters, broadcasting public welfare advertisements and distributing various materials, the zone aimed to deepen people's understanding of drugs and improve their ability to identify the illegal substances.

The zone's bureau of ecological management and construction called for real estate development companies to broadcast publicity videos and posters in their marketing centers, to improve the abilities of the people to resist the lure of illicit drugs.

In addition, an anti-drug knowledge education lecture was given to 200 teacher and students of the Li Duanfen School of No 1 High School in Guiyang, further enhancing their awareness.
Local neighborhood committees in the zone also organized themed publicity events on anti-drugs at different communities, pledging to stay away from drugs and build a better society.
