At present, the prevention and control of novel coronavirus pneumonia has entered a critical period and the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone taxation bureau is doing its part, according to officials in the zone.
They said the bureau, part of the State Taxation Administration, learned about the need for the resumption of work and production by companies in the zone in a timely manner, while publicizing and implementing tax reduction measures during the outbreak.
Zhang Shiliang, legal representative of Guiyang Lanwei Disinfection Pharmaceutical Co, a company in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone, said the bureau had helped the firm a great deal.
"During the epidemic, the sales volume of the company's disinfectant increased sharply and the number of invoices has increased," Zhang said.
"Thanks to the support from the taxation department, we can continue production and contribute to the fight against the epidemic," he added.
The taxation bureau contacted the company and instructed it to apply for online invoices at the electronic taxation bureau. The 45 additional invoices were sent within one working day after the timely review, which guaranteed the company's demand for invoices.
The bureau has also provided tax guidance to enterprises, allowing zone businesses to fully enjoy national preferential tax policies.
It has also simplified and accelerated the examination and approval process -- providing safe, efficient and convenient tax services for taxpayers.
To date, 2,606 tax transactions have been handled online, along with 852 offline tax transactions and 148 mail transactions, officials added.
