Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone and Guiyang customs signed a cooperation memorandum on the prevention and control of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic on Feb 28.

Officials said that under the agreement the two sides will further improve their joint conference system and strengthen communications, in order to work together to do a good job in epidemic prevention and control in key areas such as Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport.
The management committee of Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone will allocate special staff members to help Guiyang customs in the health and quarantine work of entry-exit personnel, to ensure the speedy clearance of emergency materials.
It will also strengthen its reserves of materials for public health emergencies, to provide Guiyang customs with emergency supplies.
Officials said that when people with abnormal conditions are identified, the management committee will quickly transfer them to a designated place for medical observation.
Customs will then instruct the on-site law enforcement officers on safety measures, to prevent staff members from being infected.
