Ban Chaohu, a staff member of the management service center of Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone -- and a Party member with more than 30 years of membership said he has redoubled his efforts to ensure the resumption of business and production of companies within zone.
Specializing in providing services to enterprises in the zone, Ban contacted all the businesses to understand their needs in order to re-open.
"The zone has a total of 48 enterprises, many of which belong to the food and pharmaceutical industries and processed food and drugs are sold across the country", Ban said.
"Even if there is only one case of the novel coronavirus pneumonia, the consequences will be unimaginable", he added.
Together with his colleagues, Ban is carefully guiding every initiative in epidemic prevention and is helping to control inspections of returning staff, as well as other prevention and control measures, mask reserves, and emergency plans.
To date, 17 enterprises in the zone have resumed work and production, he said.
