A woman from Yichang city in central Hubei – the province which is the epicenter of the novel coronavirus outbreak – enjoyed a simple and special 60th birthday at a designated hotel in Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone on Feb 2.
The zone sent fruit and snacks and specifically told the restaurant to carefully prepare food for the Hubei woman, so that Hubei tourists can feel equally at home in other places in China, despite the virus outbreak.

"I never thought that I would spend my 60th birthday here," the woman said.
"Thanks to the care of the economic zone for this unforgettable birthday," she added.
On Jan 24, she took a flight to Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province with her daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter.
As passengers from Hubei, she and her family moved out of the original hotel on Jan 29 after virus control measures including an investigation and procedures such as temperature measurements.
"The economic zone arranges doctors to take our body temperatures morning and evening, comprehensively and to disinfect and sterilize the hotel corridors and rooms," she said.
"Taking into account the taste of Hubei people, it also specially prepares food for us every day."
