The international mail exchange bureau in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently approved by the State Post Bureau, which means that international mail and express delivery will be accelerated in Guiyang.
The international mail exchange bureau deals with international mail sent and received from overseas postal organizations. It is a key channel for international mail, and also an important platform serving cross-border e-commerce.
As Guizhou has committed to opening-up, the business environment has improved significantly, seeing the vigorous development of big data and e-commerce. In 2018, Guizhou's international mail entering and leaving the country was 74,000 and 129,000 respectively, increasing by 296 percent and 401 percent compared with the 2012 totals.
The international mail exchange bureau is expected to improve the efficiency of international mail circulation and save logistics cost, which will contribute to Guizhou's opening-up, investment attraction, import and export trade, express delivery, cross border e-commerce, as well as international tourists attraction.
