Invested with 2 billion yuan ($297.17 million), Guiyang Chuanhua intelligent highway project situates at Shangban village, covering an area of 80 hectares.
The plan is to construct an information trading center, a management service center, freight bus terminal, a drivers' club, storage and distribution center, a vehicle source center, a commercial supporting service area and a logistics headquarters base.
The information trading platform of the project aims to simplify transaction process and save costs for logistics enterprises. Upon its completion, the highway port will form an industrial chain with output value exceeding 10 billion yuan.
The industrial park of the highway port will bring tens of thousands of job opportunities and its tax revenue is expected to exceed hundreds of millions of yuan per year.
The highway port will be built into a storage and distribution center of the largest scale, the most standardized standard and the best service in central Guizhou area. The storage area covering 100,000 square meters is expected to be a landmark of the modern warehousing in the area.
