Guiyang held a dedicated job fair for people with disabilities on Sept 9. It was jointly organized by the Guiyang federation of disabled persons and the Guiyang bureau of human resources and social security, with the goal being to expand employment opportunities for disadvantaged groups.
The job fair focused on the employment needs of people with disabilities and offered 247 positions from 11 companies. The jobs covered a range of roles, including general labor, data labeling, customer service, and cleaning, providing employment options for people with different needs and abilities.
At the event, staff members provided information on employment policies, introduced job opportunities, and offered guidance for job seekers. They also encouraged companies to hire people with disabilities and helped connect job seekers with suitable positions close to home.
Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area have continued to provide regular support for the employment of people with disabilities through dedicated job fairs, skills training, and the development of suitable job opportunities.
